The Championship began July 26th and concluded Sunday July 30th.

Jordan finished the round robin with 12 points placing her in second spot. She proceeded to the semi-final game which she won taking her to the gold medal game on Sunday. Jordan played Baylee Van Steijn of Ontario and securely captured the GOLD medal with a score of 21-14.

Lorrand went through the entire round robin event UNDEFEATED with a total of 15 points earning himself a bye to one of the semi-final games which he won to proceed to the gold medal game against Logan Saunderson of BC. Unfortunately, Lo could not secure a full winning sweep as he lost in the final with a score of 18-16 to secure the SILVER medal.

A wonderful finish to an exceptional week for these two young athletes to secure at home in front of family and friends the well deserved GOLD and SILVER MEDALS.

Saskatchewan’s other competing athletes were;

– U25 Mens: Carter Watson (Regina LBC) & Mason Boyd (Moose Jaw LBC)

Additionally, Jordan placed fourth in the Forster-Lang Pairs. This event has a U18 lead paired with a U25 experienced skip.

We are extremely proud of how Jordan and Lorrand represented our sport, our province and for their well earned success at this championship. You along with our other competing athletes pave a special trail for upcoming youth in this great sport.
