SASKATCHEWAN ATHLETES secure THREE SILVER MEDALS at Canadian (Majors) Lawn Bowling Championships

Heather Hanoski & Jordan Kos, from the Regina Lawn Bowling Club, who secured the SILVER medal at the Women’s Pairs Lawn Bowling Canadian Championship in Edmonton, Alberta.
Harriette Pituley & Janice Robson, from the Regina Lawn Bowling Club, and Rachel Larson, from the Saskatoon Nutana LBC, who secured the SILVER medal at the Women’s Triples Lawn Bowling Canadian Championship in Edmonton, Alberta.

A Special THANKS to David Calam, from Regina, who was the Coach at the Canadian (Majors) Lawn Bowling Championships. David comments; ‘The level of competition was very high. All teams should be proud of their performances in some very close games. The men’s triples were eliminated from a play-off to proceed to the medal round by very close tie-breaking statistics.’

- Men’s Triples – Alex Scott from the Saskatoon Nutana LBC, Jonathan Pituley & Michael Pituley from the Regina Lawn Bowling Club
- Men’s Fours – Carter Watson, Brandon Watson, Kevin Welykholowa & Pat Schlotter from the Regina Lawn Bowling Club
- Female Youth – Izzy McNish and Madeline Mohr from the Regina Lawn Bowling Club
- Male Youth – Emmett Mohr from the Regina Lawn Bowling Club and Tyler Sheffield from the Saskatoon Mayfair Lawn Bowling Club
- Youth Coaches – Mark Sutyla and Al Hastings both from Regina
A wonderful finish to two exceptional weeks for this great group of athletes and coaches. Congratulations to those who brought home the well-deserved SILVER medals. We are extremely proud of ALL our athletes and coaches and thank each of you for your contribution to Bowls Sask, our province and this great sport.
